Meet the founder, Lex
Hi, I'm Lex, founder of SBS Accounting, and I'd like to think I'm not your average accountant.
For the past seven years I've also run The Refillable Candle Company, a six figure e-commerce candle brand I built as a single mum. Becoming an accountant was never part of the plan. I became one because my own accountant failed me repeatedly. I took them to court and won, and that's when it hit me, I wasn't the only small business owner this had happened to. That's why I do things differently.
I truly believe you can't understand the struggles of a small business owner until you've been one yourself. How can you, if you've never carried the mental load of wearing every hat that comes with it?
